what is trauma? do i need treatment

Trauma is defined as an upsetting event in ones past. It is not so much what happened as how the brain perceives the experience and what the impact becomes on an individual. Some examples of trauma include but not limited to: witnessing violence, bullying, death, divorce, accidents and abuse.
